Siewert took over from Huddersfield boss David Wagner following a poor start to the 2018/19 season.

Like Wagner, Siewert came from Borussia Dortmund's second team to the Terriers. The German has played down comparisons with Wagner, though, and likewise Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
