Yaya Toure wants Premier League move

Yaya Toure will arrive in London later in the week, and the former Manchester City star believes he still has what it takes to play in the Premier League.

Toure recently left Greek side Olympiakos by 'mutual consent' following three months there and only five appearances for the club.

It is believed that Toure's 'pay as you play' deal proved an issue for Olympiakos; as they are struggling financially.

The 35-year-old has received offers from both the Chinese Super League and the MLS, but he has turned them both down.

Olympiakos released a statement regarding the exit of the Ivorian midfielder: "Yaya is and remains an important member of the Olympiakos family, who has marked a central part of the history of the club.

"Olympiakos would like to thank him for everything he has offered for the club.

"Yaya will remain deeply devoted to the club and wishes to Olympiakos lots of success.

"Yaya is leaving as a friend and the doors at Olympiakos will always be open for him. Our paths will surely cross again."
