Fulham have expressed their interest in signing Chelsea defender Gary Cahill in January, according to Sky Sports.
Claudio Ranieri's side are bottom of the Premier League table at the moment and the Italian is key to bolster the Whites' defence.
Chelsea, Fulham's West London rivals, will allow Cahill to move in January after seven months at the Blues.
However, it is not yet clear if the move would be a permanent move or on a temporary basis - but Cahill's contract does expire at the end of the season.
There have been other Premier League clubs interested in taking Cahill, and there looks set to be a race for the 32-year-old's signature.
Cahill signed for Chelsea in 2012, from Bolton Wanderers for £7m and is the current club captain under Maurizio Sarri.
Fulham spent over £100m on 12 new players in the summer, but they have struggled to settle in and the Cottagers have the unwanted division-high of goals conceded.
Sky Sports also understands Fulham are looking at more striker options to compete, or partner Aleksandar Mitrovic.
