Chelsea vs Leicester

The Blues were victorious over Bournemouth to progress into the semi-finals of the competition.

However, Leicester held Manchester City to a draw but after extra-time, it eventually went to penalties, and the champions progressed.

Team News

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata returned to training after a knee injury, but Maurizio Sarri could choose Eden Hazard in a 'false nine' role yet again.

Defender Andreas Christensen is sidelined with a minor hamstring injury.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy should return to the squas after missing the Manchester City game with a minor groin injury.

Ben Chilwell could play after a two-match absence because of an injury to his knee, but Wilfred Ndidi is a doubt with a similar issue.

The Managers

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has played down any talk of a title challenge insisting Liverpool and Manchester City are ahead of the Blues.

"I've never seen Chelsea like a contender for the title," Sarri explained. "I always said that at the moment there are two teams a step ahead of us."

Leicester boss Claude Puel believes his side's mentality was shown against City in midweek, and is hoping for a "strong game".

"I think with our mentality - we showed this mentality (in the midweek defeat) against Manchester City - we can make a strong game, a good performance and I hope a good result," Puel said.
