Burnley vs West Ham

Burnley are in desperate need of some points, and they host West Ham United at Turf Moor, keen for revenge from earlier in the season.

The sides locked horns back in November, and produced a six-goal thriller at the London Stadium, with Felipe Anderson's double helping the Hammers to win 4-2.

Burnley come into the game in terrible form, and their confidence took even more of a knock, as they were thrashed 5-1 at home to Everton on Boxing Day.

West Ham had a slightly better day, the day after Boxing Day, edging Southampton 2-1, again thanks to an Anderson double.

Team News

Robbie Brady looks set to miss out for Burnley because of an injury sustained earlier this month.

Fellow midfielder Steven Defour is also doubtful for the Clarets because of a calf problem.

Matt Lowton is suspended for the hosts because of accumulating five yellow cards.

West Ham United are hopeful Pablo Zabaleta will be able to return from illness in time ahead of their trip up to Lancashire.

The Hammers were only able to name six substitutes against Southampton, and they'll monitor the fitness of their two forwards Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.

The Managers

Burnley boss Sean Dyche admitted that his team have struggled to get the "balance right" at both ends this season.

"We know there's a lot of work to be done," Dyche admitted. "We've never overthought it.

"We defended so well last season and clearly this season at some points, we haven't done.

"I'm not stupid, I know our stats. The key moments at both ends of the pitch, you have to be deadly at one end and safe as houses at the other, and we haven't got that balance right."

West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted he doesn't have any set targets for his debut campaign as Hammers manager.

"Really, I never expect before the season where we must be," Pellegrini revealed. "We must go game by game and we have to demonstrate in every game what we can do.

"Every team invests well in players, this league is so strong. So before the season, you just have to take it game by game, but always be ambitious."
