Team of the Week: Matchday 20

A huge weekend of Premier League football has now concluded. Some inspirational individual performances all over the division - but we've narrowed the best XI down into one team. Let us know if you agree?

GK: David Button (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Button made his first start for the Seagulls and excelled as they managed to beat Everton 1-0 at the Amex Stadium.

The 'keeper came into the side, and would have had a lot of pressure on him against a potent Everton attack.

Button produced two fine saves either side of half-time to deny the in-form Everton forward Richarlison.

RB: Martin Montoya (Brighton & Hove Albion)

It's a double swoop for Brighton so far. Montoya joins his team-mate Button after a fine overall defensive performance from Chris Hughton's men.

Montoya was lively throughout, always an option going forward and his final ball was often dangerous at the Amex.

As well as that; the former Barcelona right-back was solid defensively and allowed very little down his side.

CB: Willy Boly (Wolves)

Boly was excellent in Wolves' shock victory at Wembley, 3-1 against Tottenham Hotspur.

The centre-back headed home a vital equaliser for the away team, and whenever Boly scores - Wolves haven't lost.

As well as that, the defender made some crucial challenges for Wolves as they held on for a historic win away at Spurs.

CB: David Luiz (Chelsea)

Luiz was outstanding for Chelsea as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Brazilian defender recognised the need to step forward into attack at times, when Chelsea weren't creating many chances.

This paid off, when Luiz found N'Golo Kante with an excellent lofted pass for the only goal of the match. His defending was outstanding as well, and allowed the Eagles' attack very limited time to flourish.

LB: Andy Robertson (Liverpool)

Liverpool were relentless in their 5-1 win against Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday night. Robertson was truly brilliant, too.

Robertson played an excellent ball to Mohamed Salah, with the Egypt winger finding his fellow forward Sadio Mane to make it 3-1.

Apart from that; it was a standard Robertson display. And that's excellent. The full-back was faultless going forward and solid defensively.

CM: Paul Pogba (Manchester United)

Pogba has looked a new player since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, or the departure of Jose Mourinho. Who knows?

The France midfielder produced another fantastic display as United cruised to a 4-1 victory over AFC Bournemouth on Sunday evening.

Pogba scored two in the first-half and also set one up, as United made it three wins in as many games under their new boss.

CM: N'Golo Kante (Chelsea)

We're used to seeing Kante produce excellent performances. It's been an ever-occurring theme since he arrived at Leicester City in 2015.

However, what we're not so used to; is Kante scoring goals. Well, he got one on Sunday - a fine one, too.

Luiz's excellent ball (previously mentioned) was chested down by the France midfielder and finished terrifically on his weaker foot. Kante was one of Chelsea's strongest outfield players at Selhurst Park, also.

CM: David Silva (Manchester City)

Silva is ridiculous. He's a man who just doesn't age. Especially in his position; it's very easy to "lose your touch", or "your legs" - but there's simply no sign of that with this tricky little Spaniard.

The 32-year-old was pivotal in the champion's win at Southampton. Scoring one, as well as being involved in any sort of dangerous attack for City.

Before his goal, him and his namesake Bernardo, were really threatening the Saints goal and it looked a matter of time until one of them scored. And it was.

RW: Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Mane had perhaps his best game of the campaign so far as Liverpool dominated Arsenal to move further ahead of Spurs and City.

The Senegal winger scored after some great work from Salah; and his change of pace and direct style made it very tricky for Arsenal defenders to get close to him.

Mane was taken off rather early in the match, with Thursday night's top-of-the-table clash with Manchester City firmly in Jurgen Klopp's mind.

LW: Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

Rashford, like Pogba, has been putting in much-improved performances since Mourinho's exit from Old Trafford.

The England forward managed to bag himself a goal in the first-half, as well as producing a sensational assist for Pogba in the same 45 minutes.

On his day, Rashford is as good as any winger in the Premier League. His style of play, similar to Mane's; makes it near-on impossible for defenders to get close to him.

ST: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

There was no question whatsoever who occupied this spot in the team. Firmino was the hero in Liverpool's huge win over Arsenal.

The Brazilian striker bagged a hat-trick, including a superb second goal, as Liverpool raced away from Arsenal under the lights at Anfield.

Firmino looked back at his brilliant best, much to the Gunners' disgust. His energy at the front is unparalleled in the whole league, yet alone Liverpool's attack. Fantastic Firmino.
