What a round of Premier League fixtures! Incredible scenes at the Etihad on Thursday night. Incredible scenes at the Vitality. Some excellent individual performances this week, we've done our best to pick the best XI...
GK: Angus Gunn - Chelsea 0-0 Southampton
The Saints did excellently to keep Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening. They can largely thank Angus Gunn for that scoreline.
The 'keeper did well to save a couple of Eden Hazard shots and became a hero with the away following in London.
Although, Southampton fans almost ruined his performance with their 'Baby Shark' chanting...
RB: Danilo - Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
There were a few eyebrows raised when the team news was announced and Pep Guardiola opted with Danilo over Kyle Walker.
But the Brazilian full-back showed his true class and did very well to keep a dangerous Sadio Mane almost anonymous in City's huge victory.
CB: Mamadou Sakho - Wolves 0-2 Crystal Palace
Mamadou Sakho was hands down the Man of the Match was Palace picked up an impressive three points at Molineux.
His defensive efforts were so crucial for Palace to stay in the game and hit Wolves late on, like they did.
The former Liverpool centre-back regained possession more times than any other player on the pitch.
CB: John Stones - Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
The second Manchester City inclusion already, and the second from their defensive line.
Stones, like all of the City defenders, was brilliant against Liverpool. Him and Vincent Kompany did so well to keep Roberto Firmino (albeit he scored), Mohamed Salah and Mane relatively quiet for their standards.
With Liverpool's press, City needed composure and Stones oozes composure on the ball. Faultless performance.
LB: Andy Robertson - Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
Granted, yes, Andy Robertson's Liverpool did concede twice at the Etihad, so people may be thinking why he deserves to be in here.
Individually, Robertson was one of the stars on the pitch and his assist was bloody brilliant.
For the most part, he dealt with Raheem Sterling very well, too... and he is not an easy player to cope with!
CM: Fernandinho - Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
It's now very easy and clear to see why City lost two games without Fernandinho.
He was outstanding versus Liverpool - the best player on the pitch by a country mile. His reading of the game is a joke.
The amount of interceptions he makes, and I think something that is underrated in his game; is his passing. He's a very intelligent and firm passer of the ball - suiting Guardiola's style perfectly.
CM: Christian Eriksen - Cardiff 0-3 Tottenham
Christian Eriksen has been in fine form for Tottenham this season, and that continued on Tuesday, with the Dane producing another Man of the Match display for the excellent Spurs.
Eriksen controlled the tempo of the match very well and also set the tempo when Spurs were on the counter-attack.
He bagged himself a fine goal as well to put Spurs well on their way in Wales.
RM: Marcus Rashford - Newcastle 0-2 Manchester United
Marcus Rashford has been in tremendous form for United ever since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solksjaer. Just like all of their attackers, really.
But Rashford in particular has been outstanding and he carried that on in their 2-0 win at St. James' Park on Wednesday night.
Rashford was heavily involved when Romelu Lukaku scored for the opening goal of the game, before finishing clinically to seal the game late on for Solksjaer's men.
LM: Leroy Sane - Manchester City 2-1 Liverpool
Leroy Sane was brilliant in City's 2-1 victory over Liverpool. His overall play was terrific, with the winger constantly running at defenders - making them feel uneasy.
Sane was also the match winner; with his great finish proving the difference between the two favourites for the Premier League title.
ST: Marko Arnautovic - West Ham 2-2 Brighton
Marko Arnautovic returned to the scoresheet on Wednesday evening as West Ham came from two goals down to draw with Brighton at the London Stadium.
The West Ham striker scored two goals in two minutes to get the Hammers back into the game. Arnautovic's inspired performance saved a few West Ham blushes.
ST: Troy Deeney - Bournemouth 3-3 Watford
Troy Deeney, like Arnautovic, bagged himself a brace on Wednesday night. Watford raced to an early two-goal lead on the South Coast, with both goals coming from their skipper.
The game very much suited Deeney, with physicality being a huge factor in how some events unfolded. But his finishing and astute movement were also key in getting the Hornets up and running.
Deeney also had a big role to play in Watford's third goal late on in the first-half.
