Bournemouth have expressed their interest in signing Everton midfielder James McCarthy on loan, according to the Daily Mail.

McCarthy has found himself out of favour with new boss Marco Silva this season, with the midfielder finally recovered from a horrific leg break.
Eddie Howe is believed to be a long-term admirer of the Ireland midfielder and sees him as a perfect replacement for the injured Lewis Cook.
Bournemouth are allowed to bring in one more player on loan this month, after already signing Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne until the end of the season.
McCarthy has just 18 months remaining on his current Everton contract, with a summer exit looking increasingly likely.
If the deal does happen, McCarthy could find himself signing a permanent contract at the Vitality Stadium, with Everton wanting to cash in on their midfielder.
It is understood that Fulham are also interested in McCarthy, as well as Championship sides West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.
McCarthy joined Everton back in 2013 from Wigan Athletic and has scored six goals in 132 appearances for the Toffees.
