Rugani was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window (2018), and reports broke out towards the end of the year suggesting he regretted his decision not to make the switch to England.
Following the summer's appointment of manager Maurizio Sarri, Rugani has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.
Sarri coached the central defender during his successful time at Italian club Napoli.
However, as quoted by Il Bianconero, the Juventus defender was dismissive of the speculation.
"I didn't receive any call from Sarri," Rugani said. "I am studying English but that's not linked with work. I think it's something important for my personal growth and for the general culture.
"Of course, I want to play, everybody wants to play more games but it's also important the position in my group and I know my value."
