Huddersfield vs Everton

Jan Siewert will take charge of Huddersfield Town for the first time, as the bottom-placed side welcome Everton to the Kirklees Stadium.

Huddersfield announced Siewert as their new head coach from Borussia Dortmund II following their loss to Manchester City.

Everton come into this game, with their manager Marco Silva coming increasingly under pressure, following their shock FA Cup exit to Millwall at the weekend.

The reverse fixture ended 1-1, with the Terriers picking up an extremely rare point on the road.

Team News

Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy could come back into the side for the first time in seven weeks following a knee ligament injury.

Abdelhamid Sabiri is also back in contention after returning to training, but Philip Billing and Danny Williams won't yet be ready.

Everton remain without defenders Phil Jagielka and Yerry Mina, who are both injured.

Idrissa Gana Gueye should feature despite a bid from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Managers

Huddersfield Town head coach Jan Siewert: "I got to know the players very well (at last week's training camp) in Portugal. The togetherness is there and it's great to see.

"It's a progress that will take time, but the players have really understood my idea of football so far. It's great to see how open-minded they are to new things.

"I've already experienced the John Smith's Stadium atmosphere once, but I'm really excited to feel it tomorrow."

Everton boss Marco Silva on the Toffees' recent form: "I am not happy with the last month and a half, but I am not panicking. We as a club cannot panic - even if we are not happy; even if the fans are disappointed.

"I am also, but I am not panicking because we as a club cannot panic if we want to do the right things in the future."
