Wolves 3-0 West Ham

Raul Jiminez bagged a brace as Wolves' clinical second-half showing thumped West Ham United at Molineux.

The Mexican scored twice, and Romain Saiss got the other as Nuno Espirito Santo's men continue to impress in their first season in the Premier League.

As for West Ham, it's their third loss in a row and perhaps some pressure is growing on manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Wolves had the real first chance of the match just over 30 minutes in. Jonny met Raul Jiminez's cross, but he couldn't guide his headed effort on target.

Leander Dendocker headed home for Wolves, after a good move, but he was flagged offside. So, so, so tight.

But after a rather slow first-half, the second period looked a lot better.

Wolves soon took the lead when Saiss headed in Joao Moutinho's inswinging corner and it was one-nil.

Espirito Santo's men were clearly enjoying themselves and at times, they were embarrassing the Hammers.

It was soon two for Wolves, again, Moutinho's corner was excellent and this time, Jiminez headed past Lucasz Fabianski.

Jiminez had time for his second and Wolves' third... with Diogo Jota running on the counter-attack and he found his attacking partner Jiminez, who fired home for game over.

Molineux was rocking, and for Wolves, it was back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

The Managers

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo: "I was very pleased in the way we did it. It was a deserved victory, but with tempo and balance and I'm very pleased with the boys who were brilliant today.

"We were very compact and didn't concede almost any chances to West Ham so that was a good one.

"Sometimes you play well and don't achieve. (Matt) Doherty and Jonny did well and had chances. It requires a lot of effort and a lot of heart to keep going up and down."

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini: "Maybe we are paying the cost of having so many injured players that we cannot alter our starting XI.

"In the first-half, it was very tight, but after that I don't understand what happened. It is difficult to find a reason for why we played so badly.

"These things can happen, there can be a lot of reasons but when you lose I don't like to find excuses - we must become a competitive team as we were three weeks ago."
