Leicester City are hotting up their pursuit for Celtic and former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers to be the man to replace Claude Puel.
Puel was sacked by the Foxes on Sunday following a 4-1 humiliation at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
Rodgers has been selected as a possible replacement at the King Power and Leicester believe they can get their man for the remainder of the season.
The Northern Irishman was in charge of Liverpool between 2012 and 2015 and guided them to a second-place finish in 2013-14.
He has since managed Celtic and it looks set they will win their third successive SPL title.
It is reported by the Guardian that Celtic would demand £5m for a compensation fee if the Foxes were to appoint their manager.
Is Rodgers the right man to lead Leicester for the rest of the campaign?
