In the end it was record signing Traore who scored the winner in the 93rd minute, his first goal in 40 Premier league appearances.

Doherty similarly forced Fabianski into a good save, not much in the opening 10 minutes.

The opening 20 minutes has moments of high energy but overall neither side has seriously threatened to score.

Both sides have some small chances but nothing significant.

West Ham come close to breaking the deadlock as Yarmolenko does well to get the ball to Michail Antonio who sends a looping header towards the far corner but it is tipped over by Rui Patricio in the 56th minute.

Raul Jimenez misses a big chance for Wolves as he sends a powerful header straight at Fabianski, it’s better and more direct football from both sides.

The game loses its urgency a little as both sides have good chances via Raul Jimenez and Yarmolenko, West Ham appear to be the best side once more.

Several close chances for both sides within a few minutes, the first as Pedro Obiang strikes the ball well but it goes just wide of the post.

Raul Jimenez gets the ball caught between his feet after receiving a great pass from Ruben Neves putting him six yards out and unmarked, it’s a huge chance missed.

Marko Arnautovic is able to speed past the Wolves defense but his shot is blocked by the face of Rui Patricio in the 81st minute, both sides creating but not scoring big chances.

Both sides have several more chances before in the 93rd minute, substitute and record signing Adama Traore scores, capturing all 3 points for Wolves.

West Ham will be very disappointed to not get anything from that game, they were the better side for larger parts but were unable to finish key chances and didn’t create enough.

Wolves will be delighted to get all three points when they didn’t play that well overall, the team has real fight to it.
