Liverpool came back from a goal down to continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League, as they beat Burnley 3-1 at Turf Moor.
Goals from James Milner, Roberto Firmino and Xherdan Shaqiri cancelled out a Jack Cork opener for the Clarets.
Joe Gomez was stretchered off for Liverpool in the first-half and it has been confirmed that the England defender will be out for six weeks after fracturing his lower leg.
The Reds move back to within two points of Manchester City with the win. Burnley remain in 19th in the table.
Burnley started the game the better of the two sides, and Phil Bardsley nearly scored a screamer from long-range but it just went wide.
Liverpool lacked a cutting-edge up the top in the first-half, with Firmino and Mohamed Salah starting the match on the bench for the Reds.
Burnley thought they took the lead towards the end of the first period, but Ashley Barnes' excellent volley was ruled out for offside.
After the restart, Burnley did eventually take the lead. And it was deserved.
Cork was the quickest to pounce after Barnes tackled Alisson, who dropped the ball and the former Swansea and Southampton midfielder tapped home.
However, Milner took the game by the scruff of its neck and it was soon level at Turf Moor.
After some good work from an impressive Naby Keita, he found Divock Origi, who layed it off for Milner to put the ball right in the bottom corner to beat his former team-mate Joe Hart.
Firmino and Salah were brought on for Liverpool immediately after the equaliser, with Jurgen Klopp signalling his intent.
The Brazilian Firmino made an immediate impact; with his first touch! Virgil van Dijk's ball across goal was tapped in by Liverpool's number nine.
Burnley struggled to create many good chances after Liverpool's second goal - until the last few minutes of the game.
Ben Mee's header was well saved by Alisson and the Brazil goalkeeper did really well to keep the ball in play. He threw it to Sturridge, who found Salah and the Egyptian played a lovely ball for Shaqiri to score his first away goal for Liverpool.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche believes his team put in a performance that showed they are still Premier League standard.
"The minimum we wanted was a performance and that was much more like us," Dyche said to BBC Sport.
"The important thing now is we have to keep delivering that level of performance because if we do, we are still a force in the Premier League.
"The crowd were absolutely fantastic and they are right with us. It all starts with tonight's performance now and that has to be close to the benchmark and we have to build on that."
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described the second-half as a "perfect reaction" from his side.
"Burnley had this specific plan, they wanted to be really aggressive," Klopp explained.
"I was really happy we could go into half-time and adjust a few things. We made life difficult for ourselves.
"We controlled the game in a lot of moments. The second-half was the perfect reaction and I'm really happy about the three points."
