Mohamed Salah gets his second hat-trick for Liverpool, as they moved to the top of the league after thrashing Bournemouth 4-0.
Three goals from Liverpool's Egyptian forward and an own-goal from Steve Cook, topped off a dominant display for the Reds at the Vitality Stadium.
Liverpool are now a point above Manchester City in the Premier League table; and are now the ONLY team unbeaten in the league.
How It Happened...
The game started off rather slowly for both teams, with neither having any real clear-cut chances.
However, the Reds did take the lead with 25 minutes on the clock. Salah was the quickest to react when Asmir Begovic could only parry Roberto Firmino's shot from 25-yards.
Bournemouth were uncharacteristically passive in the game; which played right into the visitor's hands - allowing Jurgen Klopp's side to retain possession with ease at the Vitality.
After the break, Liverpool's grip on the game got even tighter, when Salah was clipped by Cook; but carried on running and his left-footed strike deflected off Nathan Ake and beat Begovic at his far post.
It was soon game over in the early kick-off with Andrew Robertson's low cross being backheeled into his own goal by Cook.
Salah completed his hat-trick and the scoring for the match, when he rounded Begovic, waited for the Bosnian 'keeper to come back, took him on again, and very calmly stroked it beyond the two Cherries defenders on the line.
Post-Match Reaction...
After the game, Liverpool's Salah refused to accept the Man of the Match award from Sky Sports and instead gave it to James Milner.
Milner was playing his 500th game in the Premier League and Salah thought he was more deserving of it.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was very happy with his team's "nice football" they played at the Vitality Stadium.
"It is clear that everyone knows about the quality of Bournemouth," Klopp insisted.
"We had to keep the ball and win the ball back as quickly as possible. We did both very often but not always as they had their moments too, of course.
"I don't know if it was offside (Salah's first goal). I've not watched it back, but we improved in the second-half and controlled the game.
"It was really nice. Mo Salah scores the goal (his second goal) and I don't think many do in that situation.
"The third goal was again brilliant. It was really cool and it helps of course! We played nice football and the players we brought on did really well."
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe had "many complaints" after the game, regarding referee Lee Mason's performance.
"I have many complaints," Howe insisted. "He (Salah) was offside (for the first goal).
"It has a huge bearing on the match. We were fine until that moment. It changes the game.
"It was difficult for us losing Callum Wilson. We have to deal with players who aren't here and can't use that as an excuse. We still had a competitive team on the pitch.
"The first goal is key and then we made some mistakes at bad times.
"At half-time, I thought we were well in this match. I expected a very different second-half. We just had to manage a scoreline. It is a tough league. We are disappointed as it's another game that has gone away from us."
