Eden Hazard has hailed Manchester City as the best in the Premier League, despite Hazard's Chelsea ending the champion's undefeated start with a 2-0 win on Saturday evening.
Goals from N'Golo Kante and David Luiz inflicted a first defeat of the season on City at Stamford Bridge, in a game marred by racism controversy.
Liverpool moved top with their 4-0 win over AFC Bournemouth in the early afternoon on Saturday.
Hazard still believes that the 2017/18 champions are still the best in the division, though, despite the team's drop in position.
"It feels really good, especially after the game in midweek when we lost against Wolves," the Chelsea winger said.
"It was a hard game, especially in the first-half, but in the second-half we controlled the game and we scored two goals. At the end, I think we deserved to win and we need to go on.
"When you lose you always need to show something because we are Chelsea. When we lose - for the fans, for the board, for everyone - we just want to win again.
"Of course, the feeling is even better when you play against what I think is the best team in the country and you win. We can enjoy this."
