Phil Foden is expected to sign a new contract extension at Manchester City in the next 24 hours.
Foden is close to agreeing a new six-year contract with the Premier League champions, and official confirmation is due to be released on Monday.
The England Under-21 midfielder was set to be out of contract next summer but City were keen to snap up the highly-rated 18-year-old.
Foden had been linked with a move abroad, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig all monitoring City's midfielder.
Pep Guardiola had no plans to let the youngster go and talks have now been resolved and City are likely to announce the news on Monday, according to Telegraph Sport.
Foden has made 13 appearances for Manchester City this season; but he's yet to start a Premier League match for the side.
