Marcus Rashford has insisted Manchester United are not underdogs, despite what the bookies say, as they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Sunday.
United head to Anfield, for one of the most-anticipated games of the Premier League every season.
Liverpool sit 16 points ahead of their bitter rivals coming into the match, sitting top of the league table.
However, Rashford has described his manager Jose Mourinho as a "winner" and has insisted they are not the 'underdogs' going into the clash.
"We don't go there as underdogs, I think we go there to win the game, like any game," the United forward insisted to Sky Sports.
"But they are a good team, the intensity they play at makes the game difficult, but we have to match that and try to improve it.
"But I think it is important to focus on us, and see how we can hurt them, and score some goals."
Liverpool are currently unbeaten at the top of the Premier League, but have drew their last two matches against United - goalless in both games.
Rashford was then asked whether Mourinho is different before the 'bigger' games, and replied: "I think he's a bit different, like we all are leading up to these games.
"It has a special buzz and excitement, and as people we cannot hide that. But he's a winner, you know, so leading up to the game he's just thinking about winning, how are we going to win, and what we are going to do win the game, because the three points is what matters."
