Dejan Lovren has claimed Liverpool can go the whole Premier League season unbeaten following their dynamite start to the campaign.
Liverpool have made their best-ever start, and the fourth-best start in records in the top-flight, after they beat rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
At the moment, Arsenal in 2003/04 season, are the only side to go one full Premier League season without losing a single game.
Liverpool face a tough test away to Wolves on Friday night, and their central defender Lovren is confident that his team can go through the whole campaign undefeated.
"It (the Manchester United victory) is a good result, I would say, for us," Lovren said. "Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season.
"Of course it will be a challenge, but this is what we want. This is why we came here to Liverpool, because we know we can do it. Arsenal did it before, so why not?"
Lovren could be in with a lengthy-spell in the first team at the Reds, with defenders Joel Matip and Joe Gomez both being ruled out for over a month with injuries.
