Everton host Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park on Sunday; with both teams looking to maintain the pressure on teams around them.
The Toffees performed well in Manchester last week, as they lost 3-1 to City, but could and should have been more clinical in attack.
Whereas Tottenham have had a busy, but successful week. Spurs managed to score a 91st minute winner against Burnley last Saturday, and then they beat rivals Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates.
Team News
Everton midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye sat out of Everton's defeat to Man City and will face a late fitness test due to a groin injury.
Richarlison and Andre Gomes are both fit, despite being absent from training in the week.
Harry Kane is expected to lead the line; despite missing training for some of this week with an illness.
Davinson Sanchez is set to make his first appearance since early November for Spurs.
The Managers
Everton boss Marco Silva believes Sunday's match will be a good chance for the Toffees to demonstrate their qualities against the top six at Goodison Park.
"This will be our first game at home to the top six," Silva explained. "It will be a good opportunity for us to show our quality.
"We know their quality but we have all the confidence to play our game and do everything to win the match and show we are able to beat them."
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted his side are on a "good run" currently, but he knows one loss could swing their season in a negative way.
"We are on a good run and playing well, but the moment we lose games it's going to turn quick... all the positives today will be reversed and become negatives," Pochettino explained.
"I don't speak about inside of the club. I talk about the perception outside. It's always negative.
"The doubt is always negative, never positive - that's because of the history . Because of what happened in the past. We need to fight with this perception."
