Man Utd vs Brighton

Manchester United will be looking to continue their magnificent start to life under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

United have won every one of the six games played under Solksjaer so far, since the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Brighton, meanwhile, were in fine form before the visit of leaders Liverpool last Saturday, when they lost 1-0.

These two teams faced each other back in August, with the Seagulls coming out surprising winners in a five-goal thriller; winning 3-2, thanks to a tremendous first-half from the hosts.

Team News

Alexis Sanchez is expected to be fit for Man United, after recovering from a minor injury.

Eric Bailly is available for selection after suspension, but Marouane Fellaini is out with a calf problem, whilst Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo remain out.

Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma will be assessed later on, after missing last week's loss to Liverpool with a hip injury.

Full-back Bernardo and winger Jose Izquierdo are both still sidelined with a hamstring injury and a knee injury respectively.

The Managers

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer: "As I've said before, you go into every single game as a Manchester United coach, player or manager thinking you'll win the next one - that's just the nature of the club.

"We've had six good games but the next one is the most important one."

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton: "I don't think just anybody could have gone in and had the record that he (Solksjaer) has now. I think you have to give him credit for that.

"They haven't lost for six games. Any manager coming in after Mourinho, I don't think they could have expected any more because the results and the performances indicate that."

Match Stats

- United have never lost at home to Brighton (W8, D2) and the last four meetings United have won without conceding.

- However, the Seagulls have won the last two encounters at the Amex: 1-0 and 3-2 in May and August respectively.

- So if Brighton beat United on Saturday, they will be the first time to win three successive games against the Red Devils since Swansea did it in 2014-15.

- Marcus Rashford is set to make his 150th United appearance, in all competitions.

- Glenn Murray is goalless in seven league games, his longest drought in the competition for the Seagulls.
