Watford vs Burnley

Burnley could make it four Premier League wins on the bounce if they can pick up a win against Watford at Vicarage Road.

Watford picked up a positive result away to Crystal Palace last weekend, despite going a goal behind. Tom Cleverley was the match-winner for the Hornets.

Whereas Burnley, who also came from a goal down, managed to beat Fulham at Turf Moor, courtesy of two own goals from the visitors.

These two sides played earlier in the season (August), with two goals being shared in the opening six minutes - but the Hornets went onto be victors that day, winning 3-1 at Turf Moor.

Team News

Watford are set to be without Will Hughes, who sustained a suspected concussion in last weekend's win over Palace.

Andre Gray and Christian Kabasele have returned to training this week, handing the Hornets a much-needed boost.

Burnley's Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Matt Lowton and Phil Bardsley are all fitness doubts for Sean Dyche's men.

Steven Defour and Stephen Ward, though, are both in contention after injuries for the Clarets.

Robbie Brady will sit out, with the Ireland international serving the last match of a three-match suspension.

The Managers

Watford head coach Javi Gracia on Troy Deeney's fine this week: "Troy is Troy and I accept the way he is.

"Sometimes his words maybe sound different, but I know he is a very good person, and he helps the rest of the team. Everybody can make a mistake.

"Like all the players, sometimes he is right and sometimes he is wrong. He does a lot of things well and I prefer to give value to those things, and not the mistakes."

Burnley boss Sean Dyche on potential signings this window: "It's not looking likely at the moment, there's nothing that's particularly close.

"There were a couple of situations that we thought we could open that haven't. We all know it's a tough window."

Match Stats

- Watford could do a league double over Burnley for the first time since 2002-03, after their win at Turf Moor in August.

- Burnley can win back-to-back fixtures at Vicarage Road for the first time in 17 years, with a win, though.

- None of the last 19 meetings between these two have ended goalless.

- Watford left-back Jose Holebas has six assists in the Premier League this season, which is more than any other defender in the division.

- Burnley have collected nine points from their past three Premier League matches, one more than they managed in the last 13 matches.
