Arsenal have registered an interest in signing Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero as a replacement for the retiring Petr Cech.

Audero is currently on loan at Sampdoria from Juventus, featuring 21 times for the eighth-placed Serie A team.
Cech announced earlier in January that he'd be retiring when this season concludes after 15 years in the Premier League.
The former Czech Republic 'keeper is out of favour at Arsenal ever since the arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer.
This meaning any move for Audero would likely mean he was the back-up to the German shot-stopper.
Audero came through the youth ranks at Juventus - making just the one appearance for the Old Lady.
