Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has seen his appeal for the red card he received against Tottenham upheld and he will serve a three-match ban.
Torreira was sent off in stoppage-time in the Gunners' 1-1 draw with North London rivals Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
The Uruguay midfielder was shown a straight red for a late challenge on Spurs full-back Danny Rose.
Torreira will now be unavailable for games against Manchester United (h), Newcastle (h) and Everton (a).
However, the central midfielder WILL be available for Arsenal's Europa League Round of 16 tie against French side Rennes on Thursday evening.
The Gunners face top four rivals United on Sunday at the Emirates, in a game huge for both team's top four ambitions.
