Team of the Week: Matchday 17

What a weekend that was. Premier League drama at its best. Another change at the top of the table - and a lot of movement at the bottom, also.

Some excellent individual performances all over the division - but we've tried to select the 11 best players from the weekend.

Let us know if you agree or disagree with any of the selections we've made. Prove us wrong!

GK: Joe Hart (Burnley)

Hart was exceptional at Wembley. His Burnley team were ever so close to getting a well-earned point against Tottenham, but for a last-minute winner from Christian Eriksen.

The former England number one produced some excellent saves in a brave performance from the Clarets - including a fantastic stop to deny Erik Lamela.

RB: Javi Manquillo (Newcastle United)

Manquillo was one of Newcastle's key performers as the Toon snatched a 1-0 win at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

The former Liverpool full-back also provided the assist for Salomon Rondon's goal just after half-time.

It was perhaps Manquillo's strongest performance to date for the Magpies in the Premier League.

CB: Conor Coady (Wolves)

The Wolves captain put in a real captain's performance for the home side as they made it three wins in as many games against Bournemouth.

Coady was a rock, like he has been ever since he's been at Molineux, and helped Wolves keep out a very dangerous Cherries attack.

CB: Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur)

Alderweireld shone as Tottenham won 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. He looked very assured and composed against the Clarets.

Since coming back from injury, this was Alderweireld's strongest performance at the centre of Spurs' defence.

LB: Andy Robertson (Liverpool)

Robertson was once again a star for Liverpool. The left-back, since being signed from Hull has been arguably the most consistent player for the Reds.

His energy and speed made him once again a brilliant addition to the Liverpool team as they beat Manchester United 3-1 at Anfield.

Even Jose Mourinho said: "I was just watching (Andy) Robertson and I was tired. Unbelievable."

CM: Fabinho (Liverpool)

Fabinho's career at Anfield started quite slowly with Jurgen Klopp electing to ease him in to the season, with the midfielder not getting in Liverpool's team for the beginning of the season.

However, since the Brazil midfielder has been a constant figure in Klopp's team; he's really impressed and the performance against United was perhaps his best yet.

His assist for Sadio Mane was true brilliance and his composure and ability on the ball seemed to shock Liverpool fans.

CM: Luka Milivojevic (Crystal Palace)

Milivojevic makes it into the team after a strong performance for Palace against Leicester City with the Serbian's strike from outside the box, being the only goal of the match.

The midfielder has been a wonderfully consistent figurehead in Palace's team this season and his strike yesterday typified his brilliance from long-range.

His overall performance was impressive, too, and he completely won the midfield battle against a strong midfield in Leicester.

CAM: Xherdan Shaqiri (Liverpool)

Shaqiri played the least out of the whole team, but perhaps made the biggest impact in any game this weekend.

20 minutes is all Shaqiri had, but he managed to win the game for Liverpool and even doubled their advantage.

The Swiss winger has become a popular figure at Anfield since his arrival from Stoke City in the summer.

LW: Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Hazard looked back at his brilliant-best for Chelsea this weekend, as he effectively took the match away from Brighton at the Amex.

The Belgium winger, who started the season in fine form for the Blues, perhaps eased off a tiny bit - albeit affected by injuries, but on Sunday he scored and assisted a goal as Chelsea closed the gap on Spurs.

RW: Gerard Deulofeu (Watford)

Deulofeu was magic against Cardiff City. The Watford winger scored a sensational solo goal to give the Hornets the lead at Vicarage Road.

The former Barcelona and Everton winger also provided an assist for Jose Holebas' goal to make it 2-0.

It was an outstanding individual performance from Deulofeu, who perhaps needs to be more consistent because his talent is undeniable.

ST: Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)

Jesus was on a four-month goal drought before the Everton game, but the Brazil international looked back to his best on Saturday lunchtime.

The striker's first goal was excellent centre-forward play and was absolutely clinical for someone who was on the goalless run he was on.

Jesus scored a rare header to double Manchester City's advantage just after the restart and his overall performance was much like last season's Gabriel Jesus.
