Manchester City will be doing everything in their power to keep tabs with first-placed Liverpool, as they travel down to Southampton on Sunday afternoon.
Southampton's two-game winning streak came to an end, as the Saints were beaten 2-1 by West Ham United a few days ago.
Manchester City have lost two games in a row, allowing Liverpool to pull away from them slightly in the Premier League title race. Pep Guardiola's men know they must win in Southampton.
These sides met earlier in the season... in November, to be precise and Raheem Sterling starred as City demolished the Saints 6-1 in Manchester.
Team News
Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is available for selection once more after missing the Saints' loss to West Ham through suspension.
Michael Obafemi and Ryan Bertrand are out injured, though, and Mario Lemina is doubtful with a stomach issue.
Man City are without the suspended Fabian Delph, while Fernandinho is set to be sidelined for a third successive match with a thigh issue.
David Silva could start after making his return from a hamstring injury as a substitute against Leicester City.
The Managers
Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl insisted his side do not need a "miracle" to beat the champions at St. Mary's.
"We have to keep working," Hasenhuttl admitted. "It is not about a miracle, it is about hard work every week.
"It is an intensive time now - one game after another. We know the fixtures are not so easy, but that is the Premier League.
"We saw (against West Ham) we have a lot of steps to go. It was a good beginning, but we are still near the (relegation) zone."
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that the recent form of his side is a "concern" for him.
"What we have to do is try and change the dynamic to winning games," the Spaniard insisted.
"We are able to do that but I have to reflect myself, think about what the team needs and try to help them.
"That is what will concern me for the next few days. Good results are miracles for the mind and I have to help the players come back, change something and try to win again."
