Bournemouth have signed Nathaniel Clyne on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season.
Clyne joins the Cherries for their second signing of the day - both from Liverpool, incidentally; with Dominic Solanke signing on a permanent basis.
The 27-year-old has struggled to secure a first-team spot with the form of Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, after a serious injury kept him out of action for a lengthy period.
Clyne has only made two starts in five appearances this season and has moved to the Vitality Stadium to get more playing-time.
"I'm really excited by this opportunity," Clyne admitted. "It's a great chance for me to come and play football.
"It's a great club with a great story. I can't wait to get going."
Clyne was also a target for Cardiff City, but the Bluebirds have missed out on their target.
The right-back joined Liverpool from Southampton for £12.5m back in 2015.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was very pleased that his side have managed to secure the signing of a very experienced defender.
"Naturally, he wants to play football and is very keen to bring his attributes to the team. We're excited about what he can deliver for us," Howe said.
