Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Chelsea this month with his loan spell at Valencia being cut short, if talks go well for the Blues.
Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany has confirmed Batshuayi would be heading back to England, speaking on Thursday afternoon.
Alemany said that negotiations are happening over the termination of Batshuayi's loan deal and there's a possibility of Chelsea finding another club for the Belgium striker to go on loan to for the second half of this season.
"Batshuayi's situation is very clear. We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs," Alemany said.
"I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days. The player knows he is leaving, we told him some weeks ago.
"We hope that, for his sake, this can be resolved as soon as possible. He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation."
Batshuayi has only scored three goals for Valencia in 23 appearances this season in all competitions.
Chelsea are currently in the market for a new centre-forward with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Callum Wilson both being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
