Arsenal boss Unai Emery has ruled out any permanent signings in the January transfer window, with only loan deals on the club's agenda.

Emery revealed last week that he wanted a centre-back and a winger this window.
But the Gunners spent more than £70m on Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichsteiner, Sokratis Papstathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi in the summer, meaning the funds perhaps aren't available for Emery.
"We cannot sign anyone permanently," Emery revealed. "Only loan players this January.
Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez is close to signing a deal with Arsenal, according to Sky Italia.
"I do not know this situation," Emery, who worked with Suarez at Sevilla, said. "But I know the club is working for the possibility of players who can help us with this condition (on loan)."

Another player Emery used to work with who has been linked is Sevilla's Ever Banega, with the Spaniard describing the midfielder as a "very good player".
"The club is working, telling me each moment different situations can happen," Emery said. "At the moment, I haven't got any news."
