Chelsea reject Barcelona bid for Willian

Chelsea have rejected a bid for Willian from Barcelona, which was believed to be their winger Malcom plus cash, with the deal valued at around £50m.

Willian has been with Chelsea since 2013, scoring 27 times in 186 appearances for the Blues (image via Sky Sports).

The Spanish giants tried to sign the Brazil winger in the summer of 2018, but couldn't agree on a deal with Chelsea despite making three bids.

The third and final bid from Barca was reportedly more than £55m but it was swiftly rejected by the Blues.

Malcom has been very short of playing-time ever since his £38m move from Bordeaux, with Barcelona signing him as a Willian alternative.

Malcom has only featured five times for Barca, without a goal in those games (image via Goal.com).

Willian, 30, only has just over a year left on his current deal in London, with the contract expiring in the summer of 2020.
