Cardiff City are on the verge of signing Everton striker Oumar Niasse on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.

Niasse has fallen out of favour at Everton this season, with the Senegal forward only making seven appearances.
Everton signed Niasse back in 2016 from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5m, and has scored just nine goals for the Toffees.
Cardiff are thought to be close to completing the deal, but they also still hold an interest in Argentine striker Emiliano Sala from French side Nantes.
