Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Leaders Liverpool will be looking to extend their advantage at the top of the league back to seven points as they welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield.

The Reds got back to winning ways last weekend, with a Mohamed Salah penalty enough for the three points down at Brighton.

Whereas Crystal Palace giving up a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at home to Watford last Saturday.

Liverpool were victorious when these teams met early on in the season, with James Milner and Sadio Mane scoring for the Reds in a 2-0 win at Selhurst Park

Team News

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has not ruled out Trent Alexander-Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum, despite the pair picking up knocks last weekend.

Adam Lallana could be involved, with Joel Matip in contention to play after six weeks out due to a fractured collarbone.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni is set to make his first appearance since December 2017, with injuries to Vicente Guaita and Wayne Hennessey.

Christian Benteke is likely to start on the bench against his former team, after making his return to action last weekend.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on his side's unbeaten Anfield record: "Was it Palace (in 2017) when I felt lonely? Now it's completely different. We have reached a nice level. We've used that atmosphere."

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson: "It doesn't make a vast difference in our preparation whether we play them home or away. You make certain the players know as much as possible about the opposition.

"We're going to have to work as hard as we did at Man United and Man City to ensure we get something at Anfield."
