Manchester United are willing to pay a huge £34m compensation fee to bring Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino to Old Trafford.
The Evening Standard report that United are ready to pay Spurs £34m to bring Pochettino to their club.
This may surprise some, following Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's brilliant start to life as interim manager in Manchester.

Solksjaer is a fan favourite at Old Trafford and many United fans have been calling for their former striker to get the job on a permanent basis.
The report suggests that Daniel Levy won't consider letting his boss go, but United are willing to pay a huge compensation fee to try and tempt him.
Pochettino has four years left to go on his current Tottenham contract - making any fee even more expensive.
Ed Woodward is now facing a defining few months at the summit of the United hierarchy, but he'll be thankful Solksjaer has made his job a tad easier in recent months.
