Jose Mourinho backs Eden Hazard's potential move to Real Madrid

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Eden Hazard has everything it takes to play for Real Madrid.

Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for a couple of seasons now, and Real Madrid look the likely destination for the winger.

Mourinho, formerly manager at the Santiago Bernabeu, has also managed the Belgium star in his second spell at Chelsea.

Hazard's contract at the Blues runs out at the end of the 2019/20 season and his former boss has backed him to move to Spain.

"Regarding Eden's ambitions... be it playing for Chelsea his whole life or playing for a giant like Real Madrid, I can't say, because I haven't spoken to him for a long time," Mourinho said.

"(But) talking of talent... does he have the talent to play for Real Madrid? Yes, he does.

"Does he have the personality to wear a shirt that weighs so heavy and to play in front of a crowd like the Bernabeu? Yes, he does."

The 28-year-old has scored 12 goals and set up 10 in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this campaign.
