Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen believes Jurgen Klopp's men have the advantage in this season's title race.
Liverpool dropped down to second-place following Manchester City's 1-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Reds then failed to leapfrog their rivals following a goalless stalemate in the Merseyside Derby at Everton.

Owen believes his former side have an "easier" set of fixtures coming up compared to City.
"Liverpool now have played in recent weeks Everton away, Manchester United away and okay, their points have dropped a little bit, but now it changes. Manchester City have a more difficult finish," Owen told Goal.com.
"Liverpool have easier teams (to play). All their difficult games are at Anfield against Chelsea and Tottenham.
"I think now, even though Manchester City have the advantage in points and goal difference, Liverpool now have the advantage in the games coming up. It's going to be close."
