CHELSEA LEGEND BELIEVES HAZARD IS BETTER THAN MESSI AND RONALDO

This is the view of John Terry, as he spoke glowingly of his former Chelsea team mate after the Belgian was named in the FIFA Team of the year.

The former Chelsea captain played alongside Eden Hazard for five seasons whilst at Chelsea.

Hazard was in the FIFA Team of the year with his good form during the summer World Cup in Russia as he helped Belgium to a third-place finish and he has continued his good form for Chelsea so far in the Premier League this Season.

In an interview with AS (Spanish news outlet), Terry clearly rates Hazard very highly and believes that the winger can continue to improve with Chelsea under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri and his coaching team including another Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola.

While speaking about Hazard, Terry said; "A couple of people recently are coming out and saying he's not kind of the finished article but believe me he really is and he's up there with Messi and Ronaldo without a shadow of a doubt.

"I've seen him day in, day out for the last 5 or 6 years and he's a top top player and he will only get better as well."

Hazard has already managed to score 5 times in Chelsea's first six Premier League games this season including his stunning hat-trick against Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge. He has already got 2 Assists this season and has been vital to Chelsea claiming 16 points out of 18 at the start of this Premier League season.

The winger is a key player for Maurizio Sarri this season and looks like the man who can lead their title and top four charge this season.

So the question remains, is Hazard on the same level as Messi and Ronaldo? Most Chelsea fans would say yes, but what do rival and neutral fans think?
