ALLI NOT CONCERNED WITH SPURS 'UNDERDOG' STATUS

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli claims he isn't bothered if people don't consider Spurs a serious title contender this season.

Spurs have won three out of their first four games this season - with their 100% record coming to an end at Watford last Sunday.

Liverpool have won four out of four so far this season and they are being tipped as the side to run champions Manchester City the closest.

The England international hopes that his side continue to go under the radar when it comes to this season's title chase.

"No matter what people are talking about, we have belief in ourselves," Alli told the London Evening Standard.

"There are some great sides out there, but we have to focus on us.e don't worry what anyone else says.

"We'll keep trying to get as many points as we can and if nobody else is talking about us as title contenders, it doesn't bother me.

"It is a statement that we can win at places like United. We had belief we could do it. Sometimes it doesn't go your way or something happens.

"I remember Kyle Walker's own goal there when we played really well and lost - but this year it all came together.

"We didn't start very well but stayed in the game, showed great character and were clinical in the second-half.

"We want to keep moving forward. We have got a great side and we are still fighting every day in training to improve."
