Arsenal's deadly duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette shine as the Gunners move up to sixth following 2-0 win over Everton...
Everton started the brighter of the two sides when Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a chance just 77 seconds in, but good anticipation from Petr Cech kept the English forward out.
Nacho Monreal was then denied by an alert Jordan Pickford in the Everton goal to keep the match goalless.
Richarlison, who returned to the Toffees side following suspension, was looking sharp in the opening 45 minutes and the Brazil international had a couple of chances for the visitors.
It was goalless at the break with Cech definitely being the busier of the two 'keepers and in truth, Everton had been the better side at the Emirates Stadium.
Everton started the second-half on top as well but against the run of play, the Gunners broke the deadlock.
Lacazette collected Aaron Ramsey's pass to curl one past Pickford, who was left helpless and it was 1-0 to the hosts.
15 of Lacazette's 19 goals for Arsenal have come at the Emirates.
Immediately after, Aubameyang doubled Arsenal's lead following some questionable defending from Kurt Zouma.
Replays showed that Aubameyang should have been given offside which infuriated the Everton defenders.
Arsenal's brilliant strike partnership essentially took the game away from Everton in the space of three minutes.
The rest of the game was very professionally ran out by the hosts, who now move up to sixth place in the league.
