Mesut Ozil was sensational as Arsenal came from a goal behind to beat Leicester 3-1 in the Monday Night Football.

For the Gunners, Unai Emery made two changes from the side that thumped Fulham 5-1 before the international break.

Ozil returned to the side and captained Arsenal, playing in his familiar 'number 10' role

Stephan Lichtsteiner was the other inclusion in the XI, with the Swiss full-back replacing Nacho Monreal at left-back.

With captain Wes Morgan suspended, Jonny Evans came into the heart of the Leicester defence as they had a big task to stop this deadly Gunners attack.

Leicester started the game on the front foot and should have took the lead just two minutes in.

A break led by Kelechi Iheanacho saw the Nigerian forward cut in on his left foot, but the shot was deflected over the crossbar.

Iheanacho had another half-chance a few minutes later and forced the first save of the game out of Bernd Leno - side-footing a shot from just outside the box.

The Foxes had a HUGE penalty appeal 17 minutes in - Rob Holding clearly handled the ball but referee Chris Kavanagh, in an excellent position; was having none of it.

Leicester had a massive chance straight after that buy Harry Maguire's free header was well saved by Leno.

The visitors were well on top at the Emirates.

Leicester took the lead about half an hour in when Ben Chilwell's cross was deflected into his own goal by Hector Bellerin. 1-0 Leicester, and it was deserved.

Right on half-time, Arsenal were level when Bellerin crossed and found Ozil, who finished beautifully with the side of his left foot. A perfect score just before the break - and Arsenal could surely only improve in the second-half.

Early in the second-half, Wilfred Ndidi had a fantastic chance to put the Foxes back ahead when his header from a corner rattled Leno's crossbar.

And Leicester were made to pay for their missed chances, when substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored with virtually his first touch of the game.

Aubameyang was the recipient of a fabulous through ball from Ozil - who was having a fantastic match for the Gunners.

Less than three minutes later the Gabon international had another and the Emirates was buzzing!

Stunning football from Arsenal which led to another Ozil assist and Aubameyang was never going to miss considering his form.

Alexandre Lacazette had a glorious chance to put the game beyond any doubt, but his close-range effort was very well saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

Despite a very strong first-half showing from Leicester, the quality and the form of the Gunners ensured their 10th win a row.

Arsenal leapfrog their North London rivals Tottenham into fourth place, whilst Leicester stay in 11th place following their mixed start to the season.
