Sol Bamba's late winner ensured Cardiff's second win of the season as they comeback from 1-0 down to beat 10-man Brighton and Hove Albion.
The winner came at the third time of asking for Bamba, who initially hit the post with an overhead kick, before Callum Paterson hit the crossbar and the defender was on hand to fire home for Neil Warnock's side.
Dale Stephens was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Cardiff's Greg Cunningham.
Brighton took the lead in the opening 10 minutes, when Lewis Dunk headed home a Solly March free-kick delivery.
But Cardiff managed a first-half equaliser when Paterson levelled the clash with a header at the far post.
Brighton took an early lead in the Welsh capital. March's free-kick was perfect and found the head of Dunk at the far post, who nodded home for his second goal in as many games.
The Seagulls were looking relatively comfortable in the lead, and were looking a threat on the counter-attack.
Kadeem Harris, who impressed in the first-half for the Bluebirds; ran down the left wing and chipped the ball to Paterson, who headed in for his third goal in four matches for Cardiff.
The visitors were dealt another blow a few minutes later when Stephens' reckless challenge on Cunningham was deemed a sending off offence by Martin Atkinson and the Seagulls were down to ten men.

Harris was fractions from giving the hosts a deserved lead early on after the break, curling a left footed shot onto the underside of the crossbar.
Glenn Murray was substituted for Brighton with half an hour remaining, Florin Andone the striker's replacement.
Sean Morrison was another sub minutes later, with the Cardiff captain coming off injured for Lee Peltier.
Jose Izqueirdo came close for the away side in the last 10 minutes with a fine solo effort, but Neil Etheridge saved well in the home goal.
Victor Camarasa tested Mat Ryan late on, but his half-volley was comfortably saved by the Seagulls' goalkeeper.
Bamba was the hero for Cardiff, though, with the centre-back finally tumbling the ball home, giving Brighton no time for a response!

The defender hit the post with an overhead kick, before Paterson's rebound hit the bar and Bamba was there to follow up and win it for the Bluebirds.
