BARCELONA STILL WANT POGBA BUT FOR CUT-PRICE DEAL

Spanish giants Barcelona are still interested in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, following the fallout going on in Manchester.

United are reportedly hoping for £200m for the France World Cup winner - but Barcelona are hoping to sign the midfielder for half of that at £100m.

Despite Pogba's feud with Jose Mourinho, Barca are only interested in taking Pogba next summer, rather than January.

Barca are in a good position; knowing that he wants the move to the Nou Camp and that he will only have a couple of years left on his contract.

It's a similar situation to what Barca were in with Liverpool last year in their pursuit to sign Philippe Coutinho - knowing the player wants the move and in the end, getting themselves a star for less money.

Pogba joined United back in 2016 for £89m from Juventus - but the transfer market's inflation since then has been insane.
