BETTINELLI CLOSE TO SIGNING NEW FULHAM CONTRACT

Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is close to signing a new contract at Craven Cottage, according to Sky Sports.

Bettinelli has forced his way back into Slaviska Jokanovic's plans after not being included for the first two games of the Premier League.

His good form earned Bettinelli an England call-up in September and was again awarded with a place in the squad for England's recent games against Croatia and Spain.

The 26-year-old 'keeper's form over the past year has been splendid, playing a huge part in Fulham's promotion back to the Premier League.

Bettinelli has managed 13 clean sheets in 2018 so far - which is the fifth most of any 'keeper in England's top four divisions.

The England goalkeeper has just over two years left on his current contract at Craven Cottage.
