TEAM NEWS

Bournemouth midfielder Dan Gosling is unlikely to be fit to face the Terriers, after missing Saturday's defeat to Manchester City with a knee problem.

Jefferson Lerma is available again for the Cherries, after missing the City loss - serving his one-match suspension.

Huddersfield appealed for Steve Mounie's red card against Brighton to be overturned, but the FA disagreed; leaving the striker suspended for Tuesday night.

Chris Lowe has returned to Huddersfield training, but he will not quite be ready for the squad to face Bournemouth.

THE MANAGERS

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has called on the home supporters to give the Cherries an extra lift for the trip of Huddersfield.

"We're on a tough run. The Newcastle game was a frustration for us, but in the other three games we've been happy with our performances.
"Huddersfield have had an upturn in results and we know it'll be tough. We need the atmosphere to be good here at Vitality Stadium, as it always is for our night games."

Huddersfield manager David Wagner believes his team are a "better side" than they were last season, despite an impressive first season in the Premier League.

"In my opinion, from everything I've seen in the games and in training, we are better than we were last season. We know that the Premier League is much tougher this season.
"I think Bournemouth have improved from last season. We know they are very strong offensively and we hope we can keep them quiet."
