Manchester United star Paul Pogba has told the club that he wants to leave the club, as the fallout finally seems to reach a conclusion.

Sportsmail are reporting that Pogba has told United that he wants to leave and that was the reasoning behind Jose Mourinho's decision to strip him of vice-captaincy duties.

News broke on Tuesday afternoon that Pogba will not captain Manchester United again because of his bad attitude.

Mourinho and Pogba's relationship has hit boiling point in recent months following a summer of interest from Barcelona.

Ed Woodward wants to keep the French international; but Mourinho's relationship with the midfielder is making it hard to do so.
