BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION VS LEICESTER CITY: PREVIEW

Brighton come into this encounter off the back of a disappointing 2-1 loss away to Cardiff before the international break.

The Seagulls come into this game off the back of two consecutive losses against Everton and Cardiff.

A win for the South Coast side will put them level on points with the Foxes.

Whereas for Leicester, they were involved in a goalless stalemate with Burnley at the King Power Stadium.

TEAM NEWS -

Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross is finally fit for the Seagulls after a 12-week absence with an ankle injury.

Davy Propper has recovered, also from an ankle injury, but Dale Stephens will start a three-match suspension following his red card at Cardiff.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy is a major doubt for Saturday's clash, with the Foxes star nursing a groin injury.

Harry Maguire remains out for the visitors, but James Maddison looks set to feature after a knee problem, and so does Rachid Ghezzal.

THE MANAGERS -

Brighton manager Chris Hughton was speaking about a potential January exit for Jurgen Locadia, after the Dutchman spoke to his native media about his future.

"There's no doubt that the comments he made or what he thinks was taken out of proportion," Hughton said.

"That doesn't escape the fact that he would like to play more. I have no problem with his views. The most important thing is he is very motivated to play here."

Leicester boss Claude Puel has spoken about his team needing to move on from the tragic death of their owner.

"I don't know if every game it is right to speak about our chairman. All the players, the staff, we have Vichai in our heads, we don't have to repeat all the time," the Leicester boss said.

"I want my players to find good focus, full concentration about the football. We know we have this responsibility to perform this way, the right way.

"The right concentration for me is to leave these emotions to the side. It's the right response."
