Brighton host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening, looking to produce a Manchester United-esque performance against an out-of-sort form...
So Spurs will be looking to bounce back, but Brighton would view gaining any points as a positive result against a top six side.
Brighton's last 5 games in the league; WLLDD - the Seagulls are winless in 4 games. They will be looking to get back to winning ways as they look to upset Spurs.
TEAM NEWS:
There are no fresh injury concerns for Chris Hughton ahead of the Tottenham game on Saturday evening.
HUGHTON'S COMMENTS:
Hughton confirmed that Pascal Gross remains injured and will miss out again, however Florin Andone and Jose Izquierdo are both training and could come into contention at the Amex.
He also praised his sides never say die attitude: "The two comebacks recently show the character of the squad.
"I didn't feel we performed at a level in the first half on Monday - you don't want it to happen too regularly but I was pleased with the reaction and determination from the group."
"We have two big games coming up - the pleasing aspect for me is the performances against Manchester United and Liverpool.
"My responsibility on Saturday is to warn the team about the quality this weekend's opposition have. We'll have to be at a level to get something from the game. It's normal that you have to ensure your side are aware of the ability of the other team.
"Mauricio [Pochettino] is a fantastic manager. I think he's done an outstanding job there and he'll continue to do so.
"I've been relatively happy with our level of performances so far this season. We were very good in the second half on Monday but I think we're on a fair amount of points so far.
" Murray is intelligent in his movement - he looks after himself very well and it gives him the best possible opportunities to give his best.
"I've been delighted with Solly March - he had a good pre-season. We have good competition on that left-hand side and it's great to have."
BETTING ODDS/PREDICTION:
Tottenham are clear favourites to with the bookies, with an away win being priced* at 3/4, with a draw at 11/4 and a Brighton home win at 7/2.
Harry Kane to be the first goalscorer is priced* at 11/4, whereas Glenn Murray to be the first goalscorer is at 8/1.
Both teams to score in this game is being priced 7/10, but if you don't think that both teams will score, the odds of that are 21/20.
Personally, considering Spurs recent form, I am predicting a 1-1 draw between these two teams on Saturday.
I can see Brighton making it hard for Spurs to score for the whole game, so I see it being a low scoring game, with Tottenham to get the first goal to make it 0-1.
Then, I believe the Seagulls will equalise late on, similarly to what they did at Southampton on Monday night.
