Manchester United are back to winning ways with a Romelu Lukaku-inspired performance enough to beat struggling Burnley.
The pressure on Jose Mourinho has been immense this week especially following back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Spurs.
Mourinho responded, though, in a very Mourinho way - with a win at Turf Moor.
Lukaku rose the highest at the back post to nod home Alexis Sanchez's cross to break the deadlock.
The striker was at it again just before the half-time break, when a Jesse Lingard shot was deflected and the poacher's instinct of the Belgian doubled United's advantage.
It was 2-0 at half-time with United dominating proceedings, possession-wise, shots-wise and their general play.
Things were looking bleak for Sean Dyche's Burnley, who at the moment, look a shadow of the side we saw last season.
Burnley produced a few more shots in the second-half but nothing that would trouble David de Gea.
United won a penalty with about twenty minutes to go when Marcus Rashford was brought down in the box.
However, Paul Pogba couldn't make it three as he saw his penalty saved by Joe Hart to give the hosts a glimmer of hope.
Straight after the penalty miss, the man who won it - Rashford, was sent off following a tangle with former United full-back Phil Bardsley.
Burnley now had a man advantage but very little time to salvage something from the game that was gone from them.
A much improved performance from United means they climb into the top half, Burnley are in 19th place - following their woeful start.
