CHERRIES THUMP 10-MAN FULHAM

Callum Wilson's double helped Bournemouth crush 10-man Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage.

Wilson scored early on and late on, with David Brooks completing the Cherries' scoring in London.

Fulham ended the match with 10 men with Kevin McDonald picking up two bookings for the Cottagers.

The hosts have now conceded 15 goals in just four games, as they stay in the relegation zone with the pressure growing on Slaviska Jokanovic.

Bournemouth were gifted a penalty in the 14th minute when Timothy Fosu-Mensah barged Wilson over in the box - and the striker made no mistake in converting from the spot.

Fulham were looking rather lacklustre on the attack and struggled to create any real chances to test the Bournemouth defence and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The Cottagers were understandably searching for the equaliser with less than 20 minutes to go and Brooks took advantage of that and latched onto a Ryan Fraser pass and put it through Sergio Rico's legs.

And Brooks drawn a foul from McDonald, who received his second booking of the match and was sent off by referee Andre Marriner.

Fraser was playing excellently for the Cherries and he grabbed himself another assist, setting up Wilson who grabbed himself another goal to wrap up an emphatic display from the visitors.

Jokanovic has been reported to be under huge pressure last week but the Fulham boss has insisted he is still confident in himself.

"I am confident in myself, always," Jokanovic insisted. "I am working here three years, I know very well the players I have in my hand.

"This is hard work, this is not easy for me, for the team. We need to be brave, we need to push forward, play better football and to win the games."

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe still believes his team can do better despite their excellent display in London.

"It's not perfect, there are definitely things we could have done better," Howe claimed. "I thought it was a much better performance than the one against Watford where we won 4-0 and got a lot of plaudits.

"There were aspects of the play that day which were below where we would want to be but today was a lot better and most aspects of the play were great.

"The three clean sheets in a row are huge for us and that's given us a real boost around the team."
