Manchester City have moved to the top of the table and will be hoping for a Liverpool slip-up later on after beating Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0.

Brighton's game plan was the same as most of the "lesser" teams at the Etihad - to come and defend, trying to knick a goal on the break.
And, for the majority of the first-half, they did just that!
But the first mistake they made was pounced on by City - sign of a top side... Raheem Sterling converted Leroy Sane's cross at the back post to give Pep Guardiola's champions the lead.
Sterling had his fourth goal of the season in the Premier League and there were definitely thoughts that Brighton may crumble.
But Chris Hughton's men, like the well-rounded and solid team they've proved to be, stood resolute for the rest of the opening 45 minutes and City went in with a goal advantage.
City, predictably, came out the better side and on the front foot and their star man Sergio Aguero scored an excellent second goal for the hosts!
Aguero's fine solo run was mesmerising before playing a one-two with Sterling and the Argentinian finished to double the champions' advantage.
Another good day for the Citizens, another comfortable win for the Citizens, another goal from Aguero and another wasted journey to one of the top six for the Seagulls!
City move up to the top of the league (at least for a couple of hours), still yet to lose - whilst Brighton are down in 14th.
