Burnley managed to hold Leicester City to a goalless draw at the King Power after a fine Joe Hart performance meant that the points are shared.

The match was the first home game since the death of Leicester City's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

The draw means both teams stay in the same place in the Premier League standings; with Leicester in 10th and Burnley down in 15th.

Wilfred Ndidi's early long-range shot was excellently tipped wide by Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Marc Albrighton's cross struck Charlie Taylor, and the Foxes were adamant the Burnley player had handled the ball, but Mike Dean was having none of it.

Leicester then when very close to making their pressure count, when Hart's punch didn't have the required affect and Jamie Vardy's swivelling effort was cleared off the line heroically by Matthew Lowton.

Leicester then smashed the woodwork when Albrighton's cross was met by Rachid Ghezzal, who beat Hart, but couldn't beat the frame of the goal.

Hart was a busy man in the opening stages, and Demarai Gray was the next to be denied by the English 'keeper, who made himself big and denied the winger.

After the break, Chris Wood had undoubtedly Burnley's best chance of the match, but the striker couldn't keep his close-range effort below the crossbar.

The second-half didn't produce too many chances for either side - but the game was summed up by a terrific Hart display in the first-half.
